9 players are positioned on the field as shown in the diagram. The right midfielder H goes to the corner with the ball, as the balls should be crossed toward the goal with spin. The forwards are positioned side by side at the edge of the goal area. The centre backs C and B as well as the right-centre midfielder G are placed at the edge of the penalty area. The left wide midfielder E is positioned centrally in the back area of the penalty area, and the left-centre midfielder F behind him, slightly offset to the left. The two fullbacks A and D are positioned in the two half-central positions at the halfway line. Player H takes the corner. Procedure
Player H takes the corner into the penalty area. As soon as he begins his run-up, the two forwards I and J cross. J runs toward the near post, I toward the far post. The right-centre midfielder G runs to the position between the near post and the centre of the goal area, and player B toward the far post. The right centre back C runs into the centre between the goal area and the penalty spot, player E secures the back area and tries to convert any clearances. Player F and the two fullbacks A and D provide cover at the back. After each corner, the original positions are resumed and the next round starts. Forward variation: Forward I can also be positioned at the near post, where he can flick the ball on or finish directly. J stands near the goalkeeper and tries to disrupt him (no fouling).
