A 30-40 cm high hurdle and a finish line with two cones are built up. The players line up in front of the hurdle. The starting player is about 50 cm from the hurdle. There should be no more than 5-8 players per station.
The player stands on their footpads and jumps with one leg over the hurdle (alternatively in the double leg jump). The player lands on the foot he jumped of with and immediately pushes himself forward and sprints across the finish line. As soon as he gets behind the hurdle with his foot, the next player starts.
- Fast, short movements. - Short contact with the ground. - Keep your balance on the footpads. - The sprint is startig in step position on the footpads. At the beginning, the upper body is bent far forward, the center of gravity is at waist level the view is towards the ground. After applying pressure on the footpads, the upper body is gradually raised, the view rises and the cadence increases. The arms are actively moved alternately with the leg movement (if the right leg goes forward, the left arm goes forward and vice versa). After the first 3-4 steps on the footpads, the entire foot is rolled off (heel-> sole-> footpad), the upper body is upright and calm, the step frequency increases to the maximum. - The one-leg jump serves the development of the impression force (increase of the maximum and explosive force with a limited push-off time), i.e. the speed of the start. It jumps forward from the right footpad and lands on the pad with the same foot. Brief contact with the ground with an explosive sprint. The left foot moves forward. - The knees are slightly bent thanks to a powerful, two-legged jump. The arms are angled in the outward motion. The upper body is upright. The player lands on the footpads. - 2 cones, 1 hurdle (s)
