Setup

  • 11 cones
  • Coordination ladder
  • 1 goal

Procedure

  • Group A and B position themselves at the assigned cones, 1 and 3 respectively.
  • The first player from Group A dribbles towards cone 2, then passes back to the goalkeeper.
  • Simultaneously, the first player from Group B runs towards cone 4 to offer themselves for a pass from the goalkeeper.
  • The player from Group A moves towards the coordination ladder and performs prescribed exercises. Meanwhile, the player from Group B is passed to by the goalkeeper and makes a pass towards cone No. 5, where a player from Group A is already running towards.
  • The player receives the ball and returns to the starting position of Group A.
  • The player from Group B moves towards the coordination exercise, performs a prescribed exercise, and returns to the group.

Tip

Coaching Points

  • Maintain awareness away from the ball during dribbling.
  • Coordination between players is essential.
  • Emphasize quality of execution over speed.
