Passing game: Back leg play on the wing after a pass combination

Setup

• 4 green cones
• 2 yellow cones
• 2 red cones
• 2 blue cones and enough balls

Procedure

Player A passes to B, who passes the ball directly to C. Player C plays directly on D and runs behind B at high speed. D performs an initial movement and serves player C with a one-two. C dribbles to the baseline and crosses into the center. There E runs to the near post. Player F crosses E and occupies the far post.

Tip

Coaching Points

• If there are enough players, train alternately from the right and left

• Demand powerful and accurate passing

• The players should find the right timing through regular repetition

• Strikers E & F should not enter the penalty area too early
