Construction of a cone square with a middle cone according to the graphic. The players are evenly distributed at the four outer cones. Every player has a ball.
Player A dribbles 2-3 m in the direction of the middle cone and plays a pass to the left (alternatively to the right) past the cone into the path of player B. He plays a double pass with A, takes the ball with him during the run and dribbles at top speed to the other side. Then player C starts in the direction of player D. Variant: Instead of the middle cone, an active opponent is positioned in the same place.
- The players have to develop a pass and a run timing and keep looking upwards while dribbling. - Demand clean, tight ball guidance (ball is no further than 50 cm from the foot) and demand fast dribbling. - When the passer goes into the swing-out movement it is the start signal for the ball-waiting games to run free on the side. - In this exercise, the fit, accuracy and timing are of paramount importance. The player waiting for the ball must also start at the right moment and dose his pace accordingly. - After taking the ball, sprint for 2-3m (release from the opponent) changes into speed dribbling. - As soon as the player takes the ball with them, the next two players start at the other cones. - 5 cones
