  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Progression
  • Number of Players 1 - 5 players

Setup

A triangle of cones is built up. Another cone is placed in the cone triangle. Five players spread out on the cones as recorded. The ball is at the starting cone E.

Procedure

Pass 1-6 is played first in one direction and then reversed (7-12) in the other direction. E plays to D, he bounces back to E. E plays on C, he goes on with B. B lets bounces back on C and he plays on player A. Now the same process starts in the opposite direction. A plays to B, it bounces back to A. A continues to play C etc. Routes: After a few passes, you switch clockwise. A takes position B, B position C, C position D, D position E and E takes the position of player A. The person who receives the ball runs back 1-2 m and comes towards the passers-by.

Tip

- This passing game requires a high degree of concentration and understanding of the game. - Do not place the supporting leg too far from the ball and make sure that the players do not lean towards their back. - The pass timing and the start timing are crucial. - Often the players run faster than they pass. - Demand sharpness and accuracy of play. - Accuracy comes before speed. - 4 cones
