A small cone square is built into a large cone square. Ten players are distributed among the cones as shown in the graphic. Two players with a ball place themselves at the starting cone, just like on the opposite cone.
Three players always start the same passing game. The four players in the inner (small) square change positions horizontally after the double pass. A plays the pass to B, which forwards the ball to C. C then plays a one-two with A. A takes C's position. C starts the same process and now plays for cone player D. Alternatively, the pass can be played with two balls, then players A and F start the passing game in parallel.
- This passing game is very run-intensive. - Do not place the supporting leg too far from the ball and make sure that the players do not lean on their back. - The pass timing and the start timing are crucial for the success of the pass exercise. - Often the players run faster than they pass. - Demand sharpness and accuracy of play. - Accuracy comes before speed. - The third pass must take place into the path of the player. - 8 cones
