Passing game to warm up

Setup

• 7 cones to mark positions
• Distribute players evenly

Procedure

Player A starts with a pass to player B and takes his position. Player B passes the ball to player C and takes his position. Player C passes the ball to Player D, who plays the ball down Player C's path. Player C passes the ball on to Player E. Player C takes the position of Player D, who takes the position of Player E. Player E passes the ball on to Player F, who puts the ball in Player E's path. Player E continues the run to Player G who dribbles the ball back to Station A. Player E takes the position of F. F takes the position of G. In the first rounds, the exercise can be carried out slowly and with 2 ball contacts. Once the players have internalized the running paths, the balls can also be played directly and the tempo increased.

Coaching Points

• Player C: offer in an open position, sharp pass, immediately pursue the ball after it has been played
• Player E. Play the ball deep with enough sharpness
• Player G: offer openly and take the ball directly into the movement
