Six cones are positioned as specified, i.e., four cones mark a square in which two cones are placed. One player stands at each cone; the starting position is occupied by two players with a ball.
Procedure
The exercise sequence begins at the cone occupied by two players. First, a pass is played to the centre (1), where the ball is bounced back (2). Then a diagonal pass is played to the teammate (3). A cross pass follows (4). Now the same exercise sequence continues with identical passing paths (5-8). For the four outer players, the running paths match the passing paths (the players follow their passes). The two players in the centre move diagonally to the corner cone after passing (each drawn as a red running path).
Tip
- This passing game is very running-intensive and demands a high level of football intelligence. - Do not place the plant foot too far from the ball and make sure the players do not lean backward. - Pass timing and start timing are decisive. - Do not forget the running path. - Demand pass sharpness and accuracy. - Accuracy before speed. - Concentration must be maintained. - Anticipation, perception, reaction, movement and action speed with and without the ball are constantly demanded. - 6 cones
