Passing in Two Squares III

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Progression, Main point
  • Number of Players 6 - 9 players

Setup

A small square inside a large square is set up with 8 cones. One player positions himself at each cone. The player at the starting cone needs a ball. (1) Position change

Procedure

The passing sequence opens with a pass to the first inner cone, and this player passes directly to the outer cone. This combination play is constantly repeated. The players switch horizontally (in width) as drawn, regardless of whether they are in the inner or outer square. Alternative: After a few minutes, the players switch positions from inside to outside and vice versa.

Tip

- This passing game is very running-intensive. - Do not place the plant foot too far from the ball and make sure the players do not lean backward. - Pass timing and start timing are decisive. - Often the players run faster than they pass. - Demand pass sharpness and accuracy. - 8 cones
