  • Training Set Progression, Main point
  • Number of Players 6 - 9 players

Setup

A small square inside a large square is set up. Six players distribute themselves at the cones as drawn. Two players position themselves at the starting cone. Each group of four has a ball.

Procedure

First, a vertical (deep) pass (1) is played to teammate B, followed by a pass into the running path of C. Player C passes the ball back to the starting position to Player D. Simultaneously, the three players start the same exercise sequence on the other side.

Tip

- This passing game is very running-intensive. - Do not place the plant foot too far from the ball and make sure the players do not lean backward. - Pass timing and start timing are decisive. - Often the players run faster than they pass. - Demand pass sharpness and accuracy. - Accuracy before speed. - The second pass must be played into the player's running path. - 8 cones
