Passing, Shooting, and Crossing Drill

  • Age U14 - U19, Men's / Women's
  • Training Set Main point
  • Number of Players 1 - 5 players, 6 - 9 players, 10-15 players

Setup

  • Set up 4 cones to mark positions.
  • 1 goal.
  • 2 balls per round at position A.

Procedure

  • A has the ball centrally.
  • A passes to the oncoming B. B receives the ball, turns, and shoots. B then returns directly to their position.
  • A passes another ball to C. At that moment, D starts running down the wing. C lays off the ball, and A plays a through pass to D.
  • D crosses the ball, and B starts their run to try to convert the cross.

Tip

  • Coaching Points:
    • Emphasize the quality of passes to maintain the pace of the drill.
