  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19, Men's / Women's
  • Training Set Main point
  • Number of Players 6 - 9 players, 10-15 players, 16-22+ players

Setup

Set up a cone square according to the diagram. Each cone is occupied by one player. Three additional players are positioned as follows: two players on the sides of the penalty area and one player on the side of the goal on the goal line. (1) Shot on goal

Procedure

The exercise begins with a diagonal pass from Player A to C inside the square. Player C lets the ball bounce to Player B, who plays a diagonal pass to Player D. D lays the ball off short for Player C, who comes in for a shot on goal after a short sprint. After the shot, D now sprints into the penalty area to convert either: a) a cross from G b) a cross from E c) a pass back from F. Afterward, all players rotate one station further.

Tip

- The ball-expecting player always takes a step back in a dynamic jumping motion and then takes a step toward the ball. - Play passes sharply, accurately, and low. - When letting the ball bounce, slightly raise the foot. - Correct start timing when crossing paths. - Crosses and return passes should be played sharply. - 4 cones
