- Set up 6 cones as shown in the diagram
- 1 full-size goal(s) with goalkeeper
The starting cones with the ball are double or multi-staffed; two players stand at each middle cone, and one player stands at the cone closest to the goal. A goalkeeper goes into the goal.
The left and right groups alternately start the previously practised passing variants I + II with a finishing shot on goal. The passer decides which variant is played. However, the goalkeeper opens the passing combination with a throw. Variant I: A (1) passes to C, while B moves 2-3 metres to the side during A's opening pass to directly relay C's pass (2) to D (3). Player D tries to score. A runs to the middle cone and B takes player D's position. C stays at the middle cone. D lines up at the starting cone, and so on. Variant II: Z starts with a pass (1) to X, whose first run is toward player Z. Then X (2) lays the ball off into Z's run and immediately gets free after the lay-off. Z passes (3) directly to Y, who passes directly (4) into X's run. X passes (5) to W. Player W tries to score. Z runs to the middle cone after his pass, where Y stays. X positions himself at the lower cone with player W after his three runs. W lines up at the starting cone, and so on.
