Set up three cones as shown. The starting cones with the ball are double or multiply occupied, with two players at each middle cone and one player at the cone nearest to the goal. A goalkeeper goes in the goal.
Procedure
The left and right groups alternately start the previously practised passing variations I + II withnfinishing shot on goal. The passer decides which variation is played. Variation I: A (1) passes to C, while B moves two to three metres to the side as A opens the play, tonredirect player C's (2) pass directly to D (3). Player D tries to score a goal. A runs to the middle cone and B takes player D's position. C stays at the middle cone. D lines up at the starting cone, etc. Variation II: Z begins with a pass (1) to X, whose first running path is toward player Z. Then X lets (2) the ball bounce into Z's run and immediately breaks free after the layoff. Z passes (3) directly to Y, who plays it directly (4) into X's run. X passes (5) to W. Player W tries to score a goal. Z runs to the middle cone after his pass, where Y stays. X positions himself at the lower cone with player W after his three running paths. W lines up at the starting cone, etc. Alternative: - Shooting competition. Both teams count the goals scored. - A second goal can be set up.
Tip
A varying, fast passing game with shot on goal through the centre is practised. - Ball control and good combination play are the objectives. - Demand passing sharpness and accuracy. - Accuracy before speed. - Concentration must be maintained. - Constantly demand communication among players. - Anticipation, awareness, reaction, movement speed, and action speed with and without the ball are constantly demanded. - Practising automatic movements, short passing game, and varying combination play. - Scoring goals. - 6 cones, 1 full-size goal(s)
