6 cones are set up as shown. One player per cone. The ball starts at the starting cone.
Procedure
A passes a long ball to D and sprints to the outer cone immediately afterwards and plays a one-two with D. D moves to the right-hand outer cone after his pass in order to pass with his first touch to B who has taken up As position. A tales up the position from C after two runs at cone I, C goes to cone III, B to As former position at cone IV and D moves to cone III after his two runs. In principle: Long ball - one-two - vertical pass
Tip
6 cones, Start by running the drill slowly and then speed up. The receiver should always make a small, dynamic dummy run away from or to the side of the ball before receiving the ball. The drill can be extremely tiring when conducted quickly with only four players.\n- Under time pressure, this drill is very game realistic.\n- The reciever should call for the ball.\n- Pass and run timing is important\n- Players often run faster than their pass.\n- Don\'t forget the runs.\n- Demand good pass precision.\n- Pass precision is more important than pass speed.\n- Concentration must be held at all times.\n- The players will need a certain amount of time until they have mastered the drill.\n- A good touch and passing skills are required.\n- Anticipation, awareness, reaction, speed of thought and movement with and without the ball are continuously required.\n
