Three cones are set up as specified. The starting cone with ball is double-occupied. The other cones are each occupied by one player.
Procedure
A opens the passing combination with a pass to C. Player B, at A's opening pass, makes a short check-run in the opposite direction of the pass (B1) and then lets C's diagonal pass bounce back from a run, then lines up behind C. A runs after the pass to C to Cone Station III and takes B's position. The same passing and running pattern as described follows, now beginning with Player C in the opposite direction.
Tip
First, practise the passing exercise slowly, then increase the passing tempo. The ball-expecting players always make a preparatory movement. A dynamic jump step sideways or backward, then moving toward the pass. - Demand pass sharpness and accuracy. - Accuracy before speed. - Concentration must be maintained. - Pass timing and start timing are decisive. - 3 cones
