A goal is placed on the head side of the field, into which a goalkeeper positiones. 8 field players are positioned on the field according to the graphic. On the left / right outer lane, two players are 10-15 meters apart. The two strikers take their position at a distance of 10 meters from each other, at the level of the penalty area. The rest of the players line up in pairs to the left and right behind players B and C. The balls are in the center circle.
Player C opens the exercise with a flat pass (1) on player A. A passes the pass, if possible, directly into the track of player E (2), who accepts the ball in the run, dribbles towards the baseline (3) and from there brings a cross into the penalty area (4). After the opening pass of player C, C and B run straight towards the goal to occupy the central back area there at the moment. In the moment when player E takes the flank, strikers I and J cross and occupy the two positions on the short and long posts. At the same time, the two right wingers H and D join in by occupying the right back space to exploit the flanks that go beyond the center. The second play then starts from the right side.
- When crossing, it is important that the players start moving after the penultimate pass and explosively change positions shortly before the flank movement takes place at sprint speed. - The crossing players or attackers shouldn't start too early. - Make sure that the rehearsed movement patterns lead to a fast, fluid overall movement. - The view should be released from the ball regularly (alternating view towards the ball and towards the front). - The player expecting the pass makes a short counter-movement at the same time as the pass-out movement. - The pass should be played in the path of the ball-awaiting player. - The pass player must observe the path of the player waiting for the ball. - 1 large field gate (s)
