Positionsspezifisches Passspiel

  • Age U14 - U19, Men's / Women's
  • Training Set Main point
  • Number of Players 6 - 9 players, 10-15 players, 16-22+ players

Setup

  • 1 goal
  • Cones
  • Poles
  • 2 balls per round

Procedure

Goalkeeper (left side) and center-back (right side) initiate passing sequences simultaneously.

Left side sequence:

  1. Goalkeeper passes to A (center-back).
  2. A receives the pass in an open position and passes to B (wide player).
  3. B positions between the poles (opponent players), moves briefly backward behind the poles, then reappears between them. B briefly holds the ball as a magnet player to draw in the "opponents" and passes to C (midfielder).
  4. C passes to D (forward or attacking midfielder) emerging between the poles (opponent player) and calls "Turn."
  5. D turns in an open position and passes to A (center-back) from the right side.

Right side sequence:

  1. A (center-back) passes to B (full-back).
  2. B receives the pass in an open position and passes to oncoming C (forward or attacking midfielder).
  3. C quickly lays off to D (midfielder).
  4. D passes to E (winger).
  5. E, after receiving the ball in Pass 2, seeks width to initiate a forward run. E passes forward to the goalkeeper after controlling and dribbling in an open position.

All players return to their starting positions. Reinforce sequences through many repetitions.

After a few minutes, players from the left and right sides switch.

Tip

  • Pay attention to timing, coaching, and clean techniques.
  • On the right side, many passing variations are possible after Pass 1 to B (full-back).
  • If the entire field is available, duplicate the setup to train both sides.
