A cone is placed freely in the area where the players line up. At a distance of about 10 - 15 metres for players up to 12 years old and 20 - 35 metres for players 13 and older, the coach or teammate stands. The distance should vary by age group: the older the player, the greater the distance should be. (1) Coach
The player attempts to hit the coach (teammate) with a long pass over the specified distance without the ball touching the ground during the flight phase. Alternative: - The lofted ball is played with the inside of the foot, as an inside of the foot kick, or with the instep. To increase the difficulty, the coach (teammate) can indicate running paths in whose direction the ball should be passed.
- From age 17, the distance to the coach (teammate) can easily be 30 metres. - The plant foot should be placed 30 - 40 cm to the side of or level with the ball. For the inside of the foot pass, the toe points upward, the ankle is firmly tensed, and the upper body leans slightly forward over the ball. - Stand on the balls of the feet, slightly raise the kicking foot, and strike the ball in the centre. Bring the body over the ball and do not lean backward. - After striking the ball, follow through with the leg. - Pay attention to the arms! When passing with the right inside of the foot, the left arm goes to the right hip; when using the left inside of the foot, the right arm goes to the left hip! - For the instep pass, the ankle is extended, toes point to the ground, and the upper body leans slightly over the ball. - For the inside of the foot kick, the player moves laterally offset to the ball and the body goes into a tilted position. - 1 cone
