Tip
- The goalkeeper always moves on the front of the foot/balls of the feet. He must learn to watch the ball until he has it under control. - He stands in parallel stance (both legs at the same height). - First he goes down with one knee to the ground, then brings the hands in front of the knee (the forearms are close together and parallel to each other) and securely picks up the ball. Make sure the goalkeeper equally uses both knees, always placing the ball-near knee on the ground. Then he can push off forward with both feet while pulling the ball in, falling forward with the gaze toward the field/away from the goal. - The push-off leg is the ball-far leg. - During the save, the goalkeeper must never fall backward, only forward. - When rolling the ball back, the ball lies on the palm, take a staggered stance (ball-near leg forward) and bend both legs (squat position). When rolling with the left arm, the left leg is placed in front of the right. At the same time, the body weight shifts to the left leg. The left arm is swung forward toward the ground, placing the ball on the ground. The hand pushes the ball forward and sets the direction. The right arm makes a counter-movement backward parallel to the rolling motion of the left arm. The upper body is slightly leaned forward.
