Scoring Course with Dribbling and Pass Techniques

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Progression, Main point
  • Number of Players 6 - 9 players

Setup

Construction of a scoring course according to the drawing. At each station, players place with their ball.

Procedure

Left outer station: The player dribbles in slalom through the cone course. He starts his dribbling to the left of the cone with the left inside of the foot. The ball should be guided with both feet. This means with the right foot from the right cone, and with the left foot from the left cone. The shot on goal is curled to the right. Middle station: A passes the ball to C and runs behind C, C plays to B, B plays diagonally in the direction of A. A shoots at goal. Positions are changed after each round. Subsequently, the pass combination is rehearsed in reverse order. A passes to B and runs past B, B plays to C, C plays diagonally in the direction of A. He shoots. Positions are changed after each round. Right outer station: The player dribbles in slalom through the cone course. He starts his dribbling right next to the cone with the outside of the left foot. The ball should be guided with both feet. This means with the right foot from the right cone, and with the left foot from the left cone (outside of the foot). The shot on goal is curled to the left. The groups can either be fixed at a station for a certain period of time or they can switch clockwise after each shot. If there is no goalkeeper in the group, the scorer becomes the goalkeeper after each missed goal. Motivation help: Bet with the group: "You will not score 10 goals in 3 minutes — loser does 15 pushups." Or a bet goalkeeper vs. player: no 10 goals — loser does 15 pushups.

Tip

- Make sure the passing game is played with one touch and the ball is played in the direction of movement and not too far away from the other player. - The scorer should run at high speed toward the goal. - The ball-receiving players B + C make a counter-movement before the pass. - Demand various shooting techniques (inside of the foot, instep, outside of the foot, inside kick, curling). - Fast dribbling through the slalom course. - Practice shooting with both feet. - Demand correct posture. - Do not stop when finishing — shoot from the running motion. - 2 mini goal(s), 15 cones, 1 full-size goal(s)
