Shooting Drill with Entry through Pole Forest

  • Number of Players 6 - 9 players, 10-15 players, 16-22+ players

Setup

  • 6 cones to mark the field
  • Set up a pole forest in the center
  • 1 player at each cone

Procedure

  • Players position themselves at the cones. The drill starts with the player to the right of the goal, who plays a one-two pass with the middle player from the same line. Then, the players dribble through the pole forest and shoot at the opposite goal.

Variations

  • Perform a feint at a marker in the center
  • Specify the shooting technique (left foot-right foot / instep-outstep)
  • One-two pass with the goalkeeper as the initial action
