Two opposing courses are set up using hurdles and rings. In the middle, two goals are set up as shown in the diagram. A goalkeeper goes in each goal. The balls are distributed next to the goals and with the server. The players are distributed across the two courses at the starting cones and line up one behind the other. A cone with a feeder is positioned in the centre of the field. A cone is set up next to the hurdles with a server beside it.
The server throws a ball to red player A for a header. Then A plays a pass to the wall player and goes through the hurdle course using high knees or side shuffles. The wall player passes the ball back to A, who shoots on goal and lines up at the next exercise with the blue group. As soon as the wall player has played the ball back to A, he turns to B, who immediately passes to him, then goes through the rings using ski jumps, single-leg hops, or crossover steps, shoots the return pass from the wall player directly on goal, and lines up behind the red group at the other exercise.
- The goal is to train perception, anticipation, reaction, and to promote fast, explosive movements and accelerations combined with match-realistic techniques (heading, passing, shooting).
- When shooting, pay attention to shot power and accuracy.
- Palms are open, do not make fists.
- Light, easy footwork, no stomping or pounding, but lightness on the feet.
- Quick, short movements.
- Short ground contact time.
- When sprinting, start in a staggered stance on the balls of the feet. At the beginning, the upper body is leaning well forward, the centre of gravity is at hip level, and the gaze is downward. After pushing off forcefully from the balls of the feet, the upper body is gradually straightened, the gaze lifts, and the stride frequency increases. The arms swing actively in alternation with the leg movement (when the right leg goes forward, the left arm goes forward, and vice versa). After the first 3-4 steps on the balls of the feet, the foot rolls through the entire foot (heel to sole to ball of the foot), the upper body is upright and steady, and the stride frequency increases to maximum. - 4 ring(s), 4 cones, 6 hurdle(s), 2 full-size goal(s)
