Shooting with Dribbling on Two Goals

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Main point
  • Number of Players 6 - 9 players

Setup

Set up a cone rectangle with two goals. Between them, two dribbling courses are built on both sides with six cones each. Each goal has a goalkeeper, and two players stand next to each goal.

Procedure

Before the blue player starts dribbling, the goalkeeper throws him the ball, and the player must receive it on the move at speed with one touch. Then the blue player dribbles around the first three cones using the outside of the foot (1). This is followed by dribbling with the inside of the foot (2) and then a sprint dribble with the laces (3). During the dribble, the player checks (4) and then performs a feint (5). Finally, a shot on goal follows (6). The red players perform the same exercise on the other goal.

Tip

- The ball should be taken with one touch into the run. - The upper body is slightly leaned forward at the beginning of the dribble. - The eyes should regularly be lifted from the ball (alternating glance toward the ball and forward). - Keep the tempo high. - As many touches as possible. - The legs are slightly bent at the knees during execution. - Close ball control (the ball should not be more than 50 cm from the foot). - During the laces dribble, the ankle must be locked. - During the feint, ensure a body fake is made. - Shoot precisely and sharply into the corners. - 16 cones, 2 full-size goal(s)
