Shot fake + American fake + skipping

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Progression, Main point
  • Number of Players 1 - 5 players

Setup

Each player has a ball. Construction of a square cone or in free space.

Procedure

The player starts a fake shot on the right and then immediately a fake shot on the left. Then he stops the ball with the sole of his foot and plays it with the inside of the foot backwards in the opposite direction. Then he turns towards the ball and now skips the ball right / left twice. This is a combination of the following feint / ball and movement techniques: shooting feint, American feint and skipping. 1 - Dribble with the ball 2 + 3 - Back-up movement / fake shot with step over the ball 4 - Take the ball with your left instep 5 + 6 - Back-up movement / fake shot with step over the ball 7 - Take the ball with your right outer instep 8 - Take the ball with your right Stop the sole of the foot 9 - Play the ball with the right inner side of the foot in the opposite direction and turn 10 - Take the ball with the right 11 - Skipping with the sole of the right foot on the ball 12 - Skipping with the sole of the left on the ball

Tip

Gun fake: - The gun fake is a body fake. Therefore, care must be taken with this feint that the sweeping movement of the player is maintained until the last moment. Only shortly before the foot touches the ball does the player start the actual feint. - After performing the feint, take a short step. - The supporting leg is placed in front of the ball. - If he executes this feint with his right foot, he leads his leg from right to left over the ball and then takes the ball with him with his right outer instep. - The upper body must be moved to the side (it is a body fake - which the opponent should join in) and, like with a shot, make the backward movement with the arm. With the shooting leg, the foot position is facing straight ahead and not turned to the side. Ultimately, it's like stepping over the ball at full speed. American feint: - The upper body is slightly bent forward at the beginning of the dribble and becomes a little more upright when the ball is stopped and withdrawn. - Don't lean bakwards. - The inner side of the ankle must be unfolded for ticking off and the toes point towards the ground. - The ankle is rotated inwards to 90 degrees. - The standing leg also moves to the side. - The foot covers the ball so that the opponent cannot play it. - There is a 180 degree turn and a final dribbling in the opposite direction (backwards). - Most players only play the ball with the sole or forget to turn the ankle and cover the ball. - Demonstrate the exercise to the players so that they have a rear view. - First practice at a slow pace and get faster and faster. - If the feint is executed with the left, there is a right turn. Reversed with the left. Skipping: - The upper body is bent slightly forward. - The ball is touched lightly with the footpads. - There is an alternating jump on the ball. - Short contact time with soccer technique. do not step with the whole foot (heel). - 4 cones
