Each player has a ball. Set up a cone square or use open space.
Procedure
The player starts with a shot feint right and immediately follows with a shot feint left. Then stops the ball with the sole and plays it with the inside of the foot backward in the opposite direction. Then turns toward the ball and does two right/left skippings on the ball. This is a combination of the following feints/ball and movement techniques: shot feint, American fake and skipping. 1 - Dribble with the ball 2 + 3 - Wind-up motion/shot feint with step over the ball 4 - Take the ball with the left outside of the foot 5 + 6 - Wind-up motion/shot feint with step over the ball 7 - Take the ball with the right outside of the foot 8 - Stop the ball with the right sole 9 - Play the ball with the right inside of the foot in the opposite direction and turn 10 - Take the ball with the right 11 - Skipping with the right sole on the ball 12 - Skipping with the left sole on the ball
Tip
Shot feint: - The shot feint is a body feint. Therefore, the winding-up motion must be maintained until the last moment. Only just before the foot touches the ball does the player initiate the actual feint. - Short burst of acceleration after executing the feint. - Place the standing leg in front of the ball. - When executing this feint with the right foot, the leg moves from right to left over the ball and the ball is then taken with the right outside of the foot. - The upper body must move to the side (it is a body feint that the opponent should follow) and make the wind-up motion with the arm as if shooting. The shooting foot should face straight forward, not turned sideways. Ultimately it is like a step over the ball at maximum speed. American fake: - The upper body is slightly leaning forward at the start of dribbling and becomes somewhat more upright when stopping and pulling the ball back. - Do not lean backward. - The ankle must be extended for hooking with the inside, toes pointing toward the ground. - The ankle is turned 90 degrees inward. - The standing leg also moves to the side. - The foot shields the ball so the opponent cannot play it. - When executed, a 180-degree turn occurs followed by dribbling in the opposite running direction (backward). - Most players only play the ball with the sole or forget to turn the ankle and shield the ball. - Demonstrate the exercise so players have a rear view. - Practice slowly at first and gradually increase speed. - When the feint is executed with the left foot, a right turn follows. With the right, it is reversed. Skipping: - The upper body is slightly leaning forward. - The ball is lightly touched with the balls of the feet. - A hop-switch occurs on the ball. - Short ground contact time using ball-of-the-foot technique. Do not land on the whole foot (heel). - 4 cones
