Set up a goal, a starting cone where the players line up, and a cone where the wall passer positions. The balls are with the players at the starting cone.
Procedure
The starting player passes the ball with the right foot to the wall passer's left foot. The wall passer lets the ball bounce to the side so that the starting player, after a short sprint, can shoot (curl) the ball on goal with the right foot from a turn, directly behind the cone. The drill is set up twice so that shots can then be taken with the left foot from the other side.
Tip
- Curling: The ball is struck with the inside of the foot/toe area and thereby gets a curving spin. The player leans more with the upper body to the side. A slight backward lean is also not unusual. - The next player starts directly after the shot. - The players' approach is almost parallel to the wall passer. - The goal is to learn a targeted finish from movement. - 2 cones, 1 full-size goal(s)
