Shot on goal with two legs, with hind legs, dribbling, crosses and goal finish

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Main point
  • Number of Players 6 - 9 players, 10-15 players

Setup

A field is marked out with four cones. A gate is built on each of its faceing sides. Two groups are formed (blue / red) which are placed to the side of the gates according to the drawing. The blue players A and the opposing players of the red group have the balls. Another cone is placed in the middle of the field.

Procedure

Player A opens the exercise with a flat, diagonal pass, which Player B runs through. Player A falls behind B towards the baseline. Player B picks up the ball, dribbles in the direction of the middle cone and plays the ball into the course of player A. B then continues into the penalty area and tries to use the cross from A. Both players run behind the goal they have played after completing the round, and then stand behind the group diagonally opposite their original starting position. Now the red group begins with the same running and pass routes.

Tip

- The opening ball played by A must be timed so that player B can reach it after a short sprint. - When dribbling, pay attention to tight ball guidance and maintaining the high speed. The diagonal pass to player A must be timed so that the player can flank it shortly before the baseline. - The player B waits at the hight of the penalty area, until the player A flanks. Then he runs into the penalty area to finish the goal. - The goal completion develops after the kind of the cross (flat pass, flank ball half high / high). In any case, a direct acceptance should take place. - If the gate is designed with one shot, pay attention to the following posture: upper body above the ball; Leg about 30-40 cm laterally offset to the ball, foot points in the direction of firing; Arms swing with; the arm that is closest to the weft leg follows the movement of the leg, the other is brought forward; the gaze is on the ball at the moment of the shot. - 5 cones, 2 large field goal (s)
