- Set up two opposing goals
- Two wall-pass cones (see diagram)
One player each stands at the wall-pass cones (A1+B1), the remaining players distribute evenly with balls at the two positions next to the goals (A+B).
Player A passes the ball to player A1. Simultaneously, player B passes the ball to player B1. Player A1 now lets the ball bounce to the side, just like player B1. Player B shoots the ball laid off by player A1 on goal, and player A shoots the laid-off ball from B1.
Then positions are switched clockwise: Player A takes the position of wall passer B1, player B1 retrieves the ball shot by A and lines up at group B. B takes the position of wall passer A1, who in turn retrieves B's ball and lines up behind group A.
- Pay attention to correct body posture when shooting: upper body over the ball; plant foot approx. 30-40 cm offset to the side of the ball, foot pointing in the shooting direction; arms swing along; the arm closest to the kicking leg follows the leg's backswing motion, the other is brought forward; eyes are on the ball at the moment of the shot.
- The wall passer makes a short counter-movement as soon as the starting player goes into the backswing and then comes briefly toward the ball.
- The pass to the wall passer should be played to his strong foot.
- As soon as the ball has left his foot, the passer runs to directly finish the ball laid off by the wall passer.
- The players of groups A and B must ensure they always start at the same time to guarantee the smooth flow of the drill.
- Different shooting techniques (inside-of-the-foot shot, instep shot, curling, etc.) can be practised (possibly on the coach's instruction).
