Set up two opposing goals and four outer cones. The players distribute evenly with balls at the two diagonally opposite outer starting cones (see diagram). Additionally, an inner cone square is set up.
Procedure
Player A dribbles with the ball into the inner cone square and shoots from inside the square on goal. Then he sprints around the front left cone (from his perspective) and runs briefly back toward the starting cone. Halfway, player B plays a give-and-go with him. Player B then also dribbles into the square and finishes there. Then the same sequence follows as before. The blue players (C) perform the same drill sequence on the opposing goal. Then the players line up again at the starting cone. Option: After receiving the ball, a move can be executed before the first left cone of the inner cone square.
Tip
- Close ball control must be maintained during dribbling (ball should not be more than 50 cm from the foot). - For the move, make sure it is executed at the right time (1-2 m before the cone) and that the correct technique is applied. - The ball reception and control after a pass should be a fluid movement. Excessive bouncing of the ball or reception deviating from a straight running path should be avoided. - Ball reception and control should generally be done with one touch. - Pay attention to correct body posture when shooting: upper body over the ball; plant foot approx. 30-40 cm offset to the side of the ball, foot pointing in the shooting direction; arms swing along; the arm closest to the kicking leg follows the leg's backswing motion, the other is brought forward; eyes are on the ball at the moment of the shot. - Demand shots with the weak foot as well (always alternating once right - once left, etc.). - Demand correct pass timing, passing accuracy, and passing sharpness. - 8 cones, 2 full-size goal(s)
