The goalkeeper stands about 12 m from the goal and 5 m from the goalkeeper coach. The balls are with the goalkeeper coach.
Procedure
The goalkeeper stands with legs apart in front of the goalkeeper coach, who plays the ball through his legs. The goalkeeper must quickly turn and hold the ball by diving. If he succeeds, he leaves the ball and immediately faces the goalkeeper coach again. If he fails, he tries to get the ball before it crosses the goal line.
Tip
- The goalkeeper stands loosely on the balls of his feet. His stance is the same as just before a shot. - As soon as the ball goes through his legs, he turns as quickly as possible and explosively pushes off the ground, trying to hold the ball with a diving save. - Quick sequence of reaction (turn-push off), dive, ball control, getting up, and repositioning. - 1 full-size goal(s)
