  • Training Set Progression, Main point
  • Number of Players 1 - 5 players

Setup

The goalkeeper positions himself centrally in the goal, approximately 1 m in front of the goal line. The goalkeeper coach (GC) stands with the balls centrally, approximately 10 m in front of the goal.

Procedure

The GC plays 15 hard-hit balls in succession into the goalkeeper's catching range. The goalkeeper's objective should be to save all balls and hold onto as many as possible.

Tip

- Just before the shooter strikes the ball, the goalkeeper makes a small two-footed hop or a short step forward, spreads his arms to the sides, bends slightly at the knees and stands on the balls of his feet. The feet point toward the shooter and are about hip-width apart, the upper body is slightly leaned forward and the eyes are fixed on the ball. - 1 full-size goal(s)
