Sidestep-Parcour (ENG)

Setup

Construction of a course according to the graphic. The players line up in a row.

Procedure

All four players run simultaneously in sidestep and pass three of the four cone stations before they get to the balls. Each player takes a ball and dribbles it onto the other side of the cone and deposits it there. Then the next players start and the others line up again at the starting cones.

Tip

- Palms are open, do not make fists. - Walk on your footpads, not on your whole feet. - Loose, light-footed appearance, no trampling or pounding. - Fast, short movements. - Short ground contact times. - Sidesteps forwards / backwards => In the lateral running direction, the legs are moved apart and brought together in parallel, the arms swing in synch with the leg movement. - The players have to pay attention to their walking paths so that they do not collide. - When dribbling, tight, precise ball control at high speed is required. - The ball must be placed next to the cone. - This exercise can be organized as a temporary competition. - 2 cones, 8 hurdle (s)
