Set up two small hurdles one behind the other. The players line up one behind the other. No more than 6-8 players per station.
The players start with a straight run over 1-2 meters to the first hurdle and then begin with the sidesteps. With the sidestep, the legs are moved sideways to each other and again at the highest possible speed. The feet touch each other as they lead. The arms can also be moved parallel to the leg movement, but then swing past each other when they are brought together. If the players have passed the last hurdle in the sidestep, a short sprint can / should take place.
- The palms of the hands are open (makes 3/100 difference seconds to a sprinter). - You walk on thefootpads and not on your whole foot or heel. - Loose, light-footed manner, no trampling or stamping. - The arms cross in front of the body. - Quick, short movements. - Short ground contact time. - 2 hurdle (s)
