Sidesteps, Small Steps, and Body Contact

Setup

  • Set up the exercise in a trapezoid shape as shown in the diagram.

Procedure

1st Round: Perform sidesteps past each other to the opposite cone, then take short quick steps to the marker in front, switch sides again using sidesteps, and so on.

2nd/3rd Round: Sidestep towards each other. Move around each other in the middle and return to the starting cone. Once there, move forward to the next cone.

4th Round: Start by sprinting straight ahead to the next cone, stop, take one step back with your left and right foot, then start to the next cone.

5th Round: Sidestep towards the middle, jump and make controlled shoulder-to-shoulder contact with your partner. Then continue sidestepping outward, and so on.
