The cones are set up in a diamond shape. The players distribute themselves evenly at the cones. Each player has a ball.
Procedure
All four players dribble simultaneously to the opposite side. In the centre, they must coordinate their running paths so that they don't obstruct or collide with each other. Once the players have reached the centre of the diamond, the next players start their dribble. This sequence continues continuously.
Tip
- The signal to start for the waiting players is when the active players have reached the centre of the diamond. This means the waiting players must constantly observe and initiate their action based on a (game-typical) visual signal. - Make sure the players lead the ball with the outside of the foot, as this is the fastest ball-carrying technique. - Close ball control. The players must alternate their gaze between the ball and looking up to see where they are going and avoid colliding with teammates. - 4 cones
