A cone course is set up in front of a goal as shown in the diagram. The players line up at the starting cone. A goalkeeper is in the goal. A feeder is positioned to the side of the cone course. The balls are with the feeder. No more than 10 players per station.
Procedure
The player at the starting cone stands with his back to the goal and sideways to the feeder. The feeder throws him the ball. As soon as the starting player sees the ball, he turns toward it, receives and controls it. Then he dribbles at maximum speed through the cone course as shown in the diagram. At the height of the last cone, he shoots on goal. As soon as the player has dribbled through the first cone gate, the feeder can throw the ball to the next player. The feeder should be rotated regularly.
Tip
- As soon as the player sees the ball, he makes an explosive 180-degree turn and starts a speed dribble. - Close ball control. - The upper body is slightly leaning forward at the start of the dribble. When stopping andnpulling the ball back, it straightens slightly. - When executing a body feint, the centre of gravity shifts to the right or left through the typical sideways bending of the upper body depending on the direction of execution. - Do not lean backward. - The arms are bent at the elbow and carried at the sides of the body following the normal arm movement of running/walking. - Bend the leg when receiving the ball. - The ball is only lightly ("gently") touched. A feel for the ball must be developed. - Eyes should regularly look up from the ball (alternating between looking at the ball and ahead). - Keep up the tempo. - As many ball contacts as possible. - The legs are slightly bent at the knees during execution. - Close ball control (the ball should not leave the foot more than 50 cm). - The goal is to train perception, anticipation, reaction, and acceleration with game-like ball technique (dribbling, shooting). - 11 cones
