Star-shaped setup of three poles and two cones. The starter goes to the lower cone, the wall player with the ball goes to the upper cone.
Procedure
The starting player runs with forward quick feet (1), then laterally over the first pole (2), forward over the second pole (3), backward over the third pole (4), and forward again (5). Then he finishes by playing a one-two with the wall player (6-7). 1-5. Movement techniques/quick feet lateral/forward/backward 6. Opening pass 7. Return pass
Tip
- Short, fast movements on the balls of the feet (not on the whole foot). The heels must not touch the ground; legs/arms are bent and swing according to the natural running counter-movement (right arm/left foot). The upper body leans forward. Short ground contact time, maximum speed. - The plant foot should be placed 30-40 cm to the side of or level with the ball. - The upper body is slightly leaning over the ball. - The foot swings from top to bottom. - The ankle is locked at the moment of ball contact. - The arm closest to the kicking leg follows the leg's backswing (when kicking with the right, the right arm goes back and the left arm forward); eyes are on the ball at the moment of the kick. - The pass should be played into the running path of the player expecting the ball. - The passer must observe the running path of the player expecting the ball. - 3 pole(s), 2 cones
