Number of Players1 - 5 players, 6 - 9 players, 10-15 players
Setup
Set up a course as shown in the diagram. The players line up one behind the other.
Procedure
This course can also be run without pre-assigned stations. In that case, players move freely around the field and take whichever station is available. Multiple players can also train at the same station simultaneously. After each round at a station, players switch to a different station. Station 1: Quick feet Station 2: Speed dribbling Station 3: Slalom Station 4: Side shuffles Station 5: Jumps Station 6: Dribbling Station 7: Carry 2-3 balls simultaneously to the next cone
Tip
- Light, nimble footwork, no stomping or heavy steps. - Quick, close ball control. - The upper body is slightly leaning forward at the start of the dribble. When stopping andnpulling the ball back, it straightens slightly. - Do not lean backward. - The arms are bent at the elbow and carried at the sides of the body following the normal arm movement of running/walking. - The ball is only lightly ("gently") touched. A feel for the ball must be developed. - Eyes should regularly look up from the ball (alternating between looking at the ball and ahead). - Keep up the tempo. - As many ball contacts as possible. - 6 ring(s), 34 cones
