Set up a course as shown in the diagram. The players line up one behind the other, distributed evenly on both sides. The balls are distributed between both groups.
Procedure
Variation 1: Diagonal speed dribble from cone 1 to cone 2. Then straight speed dribble to cone 3 followed by a shot on goal. After the shot, do bounding or quick feet to cone 4, followed by a finishing sprint to cone 5. The right group starts. As soon as the player reaches the first cone, the first player from the other group starts. Variation 2: Double stepover with pirouette from cone 1 to cone 2, then carry the ball to cone 3. Shot on goal, followed by quick feet or side shuffles to cone 4 with a finishing sprint to cone 5. Variation 3: Player A passes to Player B at cone 1. Player B plays the ball directly down the line to cone 2. Player A sprints diagonally to cone 2, dribbles to cone 3. Shot on goal, followed by bounding to cone 4 and a finishing sprint to cone 5.
Tip
- The ball is only lightly ("gently") touched. A feel for the ball must be developed. - Eyes should regularly look up from the ball (alternating between looking at the ball and ahead). - Keep up the tempo. - As many ball contacts as possible. - The plant foot should be placed 30-40 cm to the side of or level with the ball. - The upper body is slightly leaning over the ball. - Run on the balls of the feet, not on the whole foot or heels. - Light, nimble footwork, no stomping or heavy steps. - The arms, bent at the body, move in alternation with the legs. Not away from the body (no goal celebration). - Quick, short movements. - 10 cones
