Technical Warm-Up Training

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Progression

Setup

Set up a cone square.

Procedure

a) The blue players dribble with the ball inside the square and play one-twos with the red outside players. b) The red players hold the ball in their hands and throw it to the approaching blue players, who play it back with the head, inside of the foot, instep, or with combinations such as chest-thigh-instep, head-thigh-instep, etc. c) The blue players play a one-two and as a follow-up action perform a feint (e.g., stepover, shot fake, pirouette, chop). d) The blue players play a one-two, and then the blue player passes once more to the red player and then switches positions with him.ne) Juggling in pairs. Each round lasts 60 seconds, then the players switch.

Tip

a) Close ball control, many touches, direction and tempo changes, different dribbling variations (instep, inside of the foot, sole, etc.); passing with right and left, firm and precise passes. The pass from the outside player can go directly to the passer or into his running path. If the ball is passed to the player, he should turn with the first touch and start in the opposite direction; if the ball is played into the running path, he should sprint directly to it and control it. b) Throw precisely with both hands, no "rainbow" arcs, only slightly upward from below. Heading: contact surface is the forehead, power from the arching (hollow back), arms are bent and brought dynamically toward the body at ball contact. Inside of the foot: open the ankle fully (90 degrees), move the foot upward toward the ball. Lock the ankle at the moment of ball contact. Chest: upper body leans slightly back, face the ball frontally, after the ball drops play it back with the instep out of the air. c) Ball control see a); use different feints (pirouette, stepover, American fake, etc.), short sprint after the feint. d) See a.ne) When juggling, stand 2-3 metres apart, use different juggling techniques (instep, thigh, head...) and juggling combinations (foot-head-thigh; right foot-right thigh-left thigh-left foot...). Upper body is upright. When juggling with the foot, extend the instep. Contact surface is the top of the foot to no rotation of the ball. - 4 cones
