Technique and coordination course with pass / header game

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Progression, Main point
  • Number of Players 1 - 5 players, 6 - 9 players

Setup

Construction of a course according to the graphic. The players line up in a row.

Procedure

Different running exercises are carried out at three stations (A, B and C). For example skippings, sidesteps, one or two leg jumps. Then the sprint is made around the middle cone and the ball passed by the passer is decapitated or fitted. Always run clockwise over the middle cone and switch to the next station. The players start at a slightly different time so that there are no obstructions to the pass. Change the passing player regularly.

Tip

- Walking on your footpads, not on your whole foot or heel. - Loose, light-footed appearance, no trampling or pounding. - The arms bent at the body move alternately with the legs. Not away from the body (no goal celebration). - Fast, short movements. - Skipping => short, quick movements on the footpads (not on the whole foot). The heels should not touch the floor, the legs / arms are angled and swing with the natural counter-movement (right arm / left foot). The upper body is bent forward. Short contact with the ground, top speed. - One-leg jumps => Serve the development of the impression force (increase of the maximum and explosive force with a limited push-off time), i.e. the speed of the start. The player jumps from the right footpad and lands on the pad of the same foot. Brief contact with the ground with an explosive sprint. The left foot moves forward. - Sidesteps forwards / backwards => In the lateral running direction, the legs are moved apart and brought together in parallel, the arms swing in synch with the leg movement. - The header is played with the forehead. - The neck is not moved sideways when the header is straight, but from the back to the front. - With a side header, the head is turned from the straight position up to 45 degrees to the side. - The momentum is taken out of the hollow cross (arch tension). - look at the ball; When closing a header, the eyes are closed (this is a natural reflex and cannot be changed!). - Arms are angled, hands (mostly as a fist) point upwards and are used to get a swing. - Standing leg should be placed 30 - 40 cm to the side of or at the level of the ball. - The upper body is slightly bent over the ball. - The foot is swung from top to bottom. - 5 cones, 15 hurdle (s)
