Technique Combination 6

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Progression, Main point
  • Number of Players 1 - 5 players

Setup

Each player has a ball. Set up a cone square or use open space.

Procedure

From the dribble, play the ball to the left with the right inside. At the moment the ball leaves the right foot, a short lateral jump to the left follows (the push-off with the left leg and ball contact are one movement). As soon as the player lands on the left ball of the foot, push off immediately and jump to the right next to the ball. The jump must be timed so the ball can now be continued with the left outside of the foot. After the outside contact, immediately play the ball to the right with the left inside. Simultaneously, a lateral jump to the right follows (this time the push-off is with the right leg). As soon as the player lands on the right ball of the foot, push off immediately and jump to the left next to the ball so the ball can be continued with the right outside of the foot. Now play the ball alternately 3 times right/left with the sole as forward skipping. (Double-jump feint/sole) 1-3: Ball reception with the right inside and jump onto the left ball of the foot + simultaneous push-off n to the right 4-5: Landing on the right ball of the foot + ball reception with the left outside of the foot 5: Left leg goes over the ball to the left 6-8: Ball reception with the left inside and jump onto the right ball of the foot + simultaneous push-off n to the left 9-10: Landing on the left ball of the foot + ball reception with the right outside of the foot 11-16: Skipping three times alternating right/left

Tip

Double-jump feint: - Lifting the playing leg and the push-off to the other side are one movement. - The ball is played only slightly to the side. - The double-jump feint consists of two consecutive jumps with extremely short ground contact time. - The player moves on the balls of the feet (not the whole foot/heel). - A high degree of fine coordination and technique is required with correct start timing. - The upper body moves to the side during the jump feints and is slightly leaning forward. - Both knees are bent. - Eyes alternate between the ball and looking up to see the running direction and the field. Skipping/sole: - The upper body is slightly leaning backward. - Move on the balls of the feet (do not land on the heel). - Toes are pulled up. - Short ground contact time. - 4 cones
