The players hold the medicine ball with outstretched arms, in line with the forehead (slightly in front of the body) above the head (not over or behind the head, as this would cause the player to arch his back and strain it). In this position, the players perform tuck jumps.
Tip
With a powerful two-footed takeoff, the knees/thighs are pulled toward the chest. The arms are bent and go into the wind-up motion. The upper body is upright. Landing is on the balls of the feet. After a short ground contact time, the next jump follows immediately.
