A goal is set up on each end of the field with a goalkeeper in each. 8 field players are positioned as shown in the diagram. Two players go to the left and right of each goal. The balls are beside the goals.
Procedure
The attacking variation begins with a pass from A into the run of player B. B dribbles a few metres toward goal and then passes the ball to the right wing to the overlapping player A. A finishes the ball played back by B by crossing it at full speed into the centre toward goal. Player B tries to finish the cross with a first-time volley. Player B positions himself on the left and A on the right beside the goal. Following the action, the blue players execute the same play in the opposite direction.
Tip
- When passer A begins his backswing, player B starts. - The pass should be played into the path of the player expecting the ball. - The passer must observe the run of the receiving player. - Player B tries to finish the ball near goal with a volley. - 2 full-size goal(s)
