Pitch: Mark out a narrowed half pitch the width of the penalty area, it runs from the goal line to the halfway line. Two rows of flat markers lengthwise roughly level with the side lines of the goal area and three rows of flat markers across divide the area into 12 zones, that is three columns of four zones each. A full-size goal stands level with the halfway line, the regular goal on the goal line.
Equipment: Flat markers, bibs, balls, 2 goals.
Players: Two teams, each with a goalkeeper. With an odd number of players, one neutral player is nominated who plays exclusively for the team in possession. The format is designed for training a U14. In younger age groups the pitch size and goal size can be adapted, with more players it can be extended to the whole width of the half pitch and the number of zones increased.
