Passing in two Boxes II

  • Organisation

There is a large box and a small box. One player starts at each cone. There are two players at the start cone.
  • Process

Player A passes up to B who plays a one-two with H (past player G). B then passes up to C who plays a one-two with G etc. Players A, B, C, and D move on one position after their passes. Players E, F, G and H now complete the same sequence of passes and moves. They run towards the passer, move the ball on past the player at the cone and move onto the next position. The same sequence always flows in the same direction.
  • Tip

    - The players should try to give the passer a signal (call for the ball) - The player waiting for the ball starts moving towards the ball as the ball is passed. - The player passing the ball must orientate his running speed to the speed of the ball. - The standing leg is often too far away from the ball and/or the player leans back. - Timing of the pass is important. - Players often run faster than they pass. - Demand good strength of pass and pass precision.
