Warming up in the 4-4-2 linear system

  • Organisation

    The team is positioned on the field in the defensive basic 4-4-2 formation in the defensive pressing zone.
  • Process

    All of the presented paths in the previous examples are studied together in the linear system. This involves the isolated paths in the back four defensive line, as well as all of the presented visualized team paths and options. The coach simulates the paths in the individual zones (e.g. offensive pressing, midfield pressing, pressing the left-back etc) through using calls. The goalkeepers can occasionally participate with the outfield players in order to get a feel for the definition of the outfield players' tasks. When the players have achieved their final positions, they stay were they are and the coach corrects any errors. Then they move on to the next training task
