  • Organisation

    Each time a red and blue player always position themselves as follows: on the flanks (left and right) in line with the edge of the penalty area, 35m from goal on the flanks as well as in line with the penalty area in the centre of the pitch and on the semi-circle on the halfway line. The goalkeeper goes in goal.

  • Process

    The first ball is played to the goalkeeper from one of the 6 red players. In this case from the right sided defender (right full back).

    The next player to whom the goalkeeper plays the ball is the left full back whose opponent (A4) leaves the field.

    Now the 6 red players and the goalkeeper play against 5 blue players. The 6 players (taking the goalkeeper into account) have the task of holding onto the ball and keeping it in the opposition half.

    The under-strength team of 5 players adjust and try to stop this and accordingly try to attain possession of the ball and come to a quick shot at goal.

  • Tip

    - Fast, precise play-opening.

    - The red team always has the option to restart play through the goalkeeper when a forward pass is not possible.

    - When in open spaces; fast passing or ground gaining dribbling.

    - By directing the play down the flanks, the blue team tries to put their opponents under pressure and to gain possession.

    - Highly running intensive.

    -Switching Play, build up and pressing are studied alongside the goalkeeper’s game relevant play-opening.
